I am a Clinical Psychologist with over fourteen years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families across a wide range of clinical settings. My work is shaped by deep respect for the complexity of people’s lives and for the systems, cultures, and relationships that influence how distress shows up and how healing happens.
I specialize in working with parents of young children, with particular attention to fathers, couples, and families navigating periods of transition, stress, or disconnection. Much of my work focuses on helping people strengthen relationships, regulate emotions, and respond to challenges in ways that are aligned with their values rather than driven by overwhelm or reactivity.
My approach is thoughtful, collaborative, and evidence based. I draw from attachment-focused and trauma-informed models, and I value depth, clarity, and attunement in the therapeutic process. Clients often seek me out when they want care that is both psychologically rigorous and deeply human.
Alongside my clinical work, I have spent many years teaching, supervising, and contributing to professional leadership and research, particularly in the areas of global mental health, suicide prevention, and tele-mental health. This broader perspective informs my work with clients, especially those living internationally or navigating cultural transitions.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy gardening, hiking, and working with clay. I value time outdoors and creative practices that slow things down and invite presence.
My work is relational at its core. How we connect with others is closely tied to how we understand ourselves.
I integrate:
Therapy here is not about fixing you. It is about helping you understand patterns, emotions, and needs so you can respond with greater clarity and choice. Additionally, I offer expat therapy and psychotherapy in the Netherlands, as well as therapy for dads, all conducted in English.
